The Mayor's Youth Employment Initiative is not just a summer employment program. Fall internships are 6 week paid opportunities (subsidies are available) for 16-24 year olds in Seattle starting in November. Career Connection is a new program from Educurious that supports schools to transform the education experience into an effective system in which young people learn in meaningful and inspiring ways. The portfolio comprises of five core student experiences that create optimal conditions for an experience for students that will change the trajectory for success in careers, college and life: Networking Events, Work Based Problems, Virtual Mentoring, Job Shadows and Internships.
